Update: Summary of Light Up The Church 2024

Following the success of the first and second years of Light Up The Church https://lightupthechurch.org/ in November 2022 and November 2023, we eagerly anticipated repeating the event in 2024.

In 2022, we engaged 72 churches, 18 parachurch ministries, 4 businesses, and 19 individuals. They were all listed on our website, and many provided pictures of their lit-up institutions. Close to 2000 people registered with our “I Stand With The Jewish People” declaration.

In 2023, a total of 126 churches, 34 parachurch ministries, 13 businesses, and 107 individuals and home groups kept their lights on. Over 1000 people signed our “I Stand With The Jewish People” declaration.

Once again, this year, 2024, we were proud to run Light Up The Church. Due to financial constraints, we were unable to run a substantial paid advertising campaign this year, but we were able to do a barter agreement with ILTV and ran three dedicated email blasts to their list. 

In summary of Light Up The Church 2023, our site now lists 126 churches, 37 parachurch ministries, 13 businesses, and 139 individuals and home groups. Over 500 people signed our “I Stand With The Jewish People” declaration this year.

We express our gratitude to the Nathaniel Foundation and the Carson-Myre Foundation, who have generously supported this project for the third year in a row. Looking towards 2025, we aspire to expand our reach through more committed partnerships with Christian leaders, more intense Social Media campaigns, and more mainstream media appearances.
